Jane Higa Testa - Board of Governor
Ms. Testa facilitated the Japanese Cultural Center of Kona Strategic Plan in 2016.
Jane Testa has her Master’s Degree in secondary education in curriculum and instruction from the University of Hawaii at Manoa
1970-1980 (Honolulu) Ms. Testa was a front desk manager at the Hawaiian Regent Hotel and program director with the YMCA of Honolulu. She served as deputy counselor for the UH Hawaii// College Outreach Education program.
1980-2008 (Hawaii Island) Ms. Testa served as program specialist for the County of Hawaii Office of Aging for 2 years as director under the Mayor Lorraine Inouye. For 8 years she was County of Hawaii Director of Office of Research and Development under the Mayor Kim Administration.
Ms. Testa provided statewide strategic planning and facilitation services with a small hui of like-minded teammates. She also provided facilitation and strategic planning services independently and facilitated numerous community meetings in support of employment
efforts for plantation workers after the closing of Hamakua Sugar Company.
