Born in Captain Cook Kona, Hawaii on May 24, 1935

Family: Spouse Mildred, Daughters Cheryl and Sadie

Education:

• Attended Napoopoo Elementary School and Konawaena High School
• Received BA and MA degrees from University of Northern Colorado

Occupation:

• Taught for 30 years at Konawaena High School in subjects of mathematics,
  and Business classes.
• Served as Audio Visual Coordinator.

Military:

• Served in the Army National guard for 8 years and 1 year in active duty.

Organizations:

• Served as board member for the Japanese Chamber of Commerce.
• Served as Treasurer and board member for the Kona Lions Club.
• Served as Treasurer and board member for the Fukuoka Kenjinkai.
• Served as Treasurer and board member for the Hawaii State Teachers’ Association.\

Hobbies:

• Golfing with friends and neighbors.
• Helping Friends with setting up computers and other electronic devices.
